Part Time
Andover Township has an immediate opening for a part-time experienced Certified Municipal Finance Officer to manage the financial operations of the Township pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A9-140.1 et seq. A shared service will also be considered. Hours are flexible and can be remote. QPA certification and experience with MSI Fund Accounting software is a plus. Salary commensurate with experience. Full time
The Township of Andover is accepting applications for the position of full-time laborer for the Department of Public Works. Estimated start date is January 1, 2024. Duties include but are not limited to, buildings and ground maintenance, grass cutting, storm sewer maintenance, road maintenance, snow plowing, paving, and driving vehicles. Must possess a valid NJ Driver’s license. Some janitorial duty required on a rotating basis with other DPW employees. Applicants should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand and carry out verbal instructions. Applicants must be able to safely operate grass-cutting equipment, chainsaws, chippers, snow blowers, leaf machines, and similar equipment as directed. Current hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weather-related overtime required. Starting hourly rate $23.04 with full benefits per collective bargaining agreement.
