Heavy Bulk
Items –Carpeting (must be rolled and tied), Sofas, Mattresses,
Playground Equipment, Furniture, Televisions, Ovens/Ranges and Hot Water
Heaters. All paint cans must have lids removed and paint must be totally
dry. Bulk items will be picked up every Wednesday with a limit of
350 pounds per residence. Recycling cannot contain trash/Trash cannot contain recycling. Christmas Tree Drop Off, Brush Pick up and Leave Collection are discussed in the Fall 2007/Winter 2008 Newsletter. Please refer to the newsletter section on this site for more information.Waste Oil Drop - For motor oil only! Drop off is the last Friday of each month, between the hours of 8 and 10 AM at the Municipal Garage (upper parking lot), 134 Newton-Sparta Road . Each container must not exceed 5 gallons. Due to the Friday Holiday in November, drop off will be November 17, 2006 . Rolling Hills Residents Only – In addition to the above: Trash will be picked up twice per week from the compactor. Recycling (fiber [corrugated cardboard; newspapers; magazines; junk mail/paper] and co-mingled [Glass (no window glass) plastic bottles, aluminum and tin]) will be collected once per week. Bulk will be picked up once per week. Recycled items in plastic bags will not be collected. Deposit recyclables in appropriate dumpster. All contractors doing work in any unit must take all garbage and construction material. Please do your part. Immediately call the Andover Police (973-383-5544) with any information regarding any outside dumping or other abuse of the Rolling Hills garbage facility.
